United Church Women
A wonderful and fun filled group of women who are active in endeavors that have local and international foci. Beside making thousands of visits to sick and shut-ins, to senior’s homes, they meet for worship and fellowship monthly, With a
large membership, they are an important part of our church’s
outreach.
Men’s Fellowship Club
Each month, men gather for a meal and fellowship at the Church Hall.
But eating a wonderful meal is not all they do. In past years, they have lead worship
many times at different senior’s homes, visited several churches including bus trips to lead in or take part in worships
at other churches delivered Fruit Baskets and held
fund-raising events for outreach programs like Scouting.
Senior Choir
A valuable asset in our worshiping life is the Senior Choir.
Several members sing in this four part choir. They are always looking for new members. They meet weekly for practice and share in the Annual Christmas Choir Cantata. If you have any questions, please give our choir director/organist, Ms. Leslie Forward, a call. As well, other important parts of the musical program include our three supply organists (Ms. Sharon Dean, Ms. Louise Drover and Ms. Ruth Davidge)
Songbirds
A group of women who gather weekly to sing and share their faith. They have lots of fun and share in worship every three to four weeks. Their director is Rev. Beverly.
Ushering Committee
During October 7, 1996 Bethany established its first Usher
Committee. Under the leadership of the Chief Usher, Bert Parsons. Six ushering team captains offered to serve to enhance and improve ushering at Bethany. This has been a real success story and has been going strong ever since. Today usher captains have encouraged many congregational members to become involved in ushering, greeting and take up the collection during weekly and special services through-out the year and has become invaluable to our church life. These captains rotate on a monthly basis, keeping things running smoothly and are always on the watch to encourage new members to take part.

Guitar Group
Tuesdays @ 6:00pm - 7:00pm (beginners finish @ 6:30pm)
This is a
gathering for all
people interested in playing acoustic guitar, regardless of
ability level. People are grouped according to ability, not age,
so come along and enjoy - whether you've never before picked a
guitar up, have some experience with playing guitar, or would
simply enjoy a "jam session" with friends
Hobby Group
which
will meet Tuesday afternoons @ 1:00pm - 4:00pm
If you have a hobby, why not come along and do it with others? Its
a great way to have fun doing what you love while sharing an
afternoon in a friendly atmosphere. You might also pick up a new
interest to enjoy!

This is a group for both boys and girls (grades 4-6) which
focuses on having fun while "exploring God's world of wonders."
Members earn Stars and awards for their participation in the
group's games, crafts, activities and outings. Also includes lots
of food!

Beginners' Choir and Youth Choir
- ecumenical singing groups, open to all children who would love
to occassionally sing in worship at Bethany. The group usually
sings 3-4 times each fall (including Christmas Eve), and 5-6 times
each winter/spring (including Mother's Day/Christian Family
Sunday).
